The fit of this shirt pattern is slightly tapered on the waist with a stand collar, cuffs and a button stand. A good quality cotton poplin is a standard choice of fabric used to construct this shirt, printed cotton and tartan flannel is also ideal.
The fabrics – and other trims – yardage calculation is estimated as a recommended average consumption.
Fabric width: 150 cm:
8-9 Fabric = 1 Metre, Interfacing = 0.5 Metres.
9-10 Fabric = 1 – 1.5 Metres, Interfacing= 1 Metres.
12-14 Fabric = 1.5 – 2 Metres, Interfacing =1 Metres.
14-16 Fabric = 1.5 – 2 Metres, Interfacing = 1 Metres.
