Circle Skirt Fabric measurement
The fabric needed for the circle skirt varies on the cut and length. This style is also known as a bouffant skirt. It is a classic 50s cut and becomes more dramatic the more fabric you use. This is a quintessential Dior silhouette. Have a chat and consult your tutor for advice on the cut and materials needed. Below is a guide of fabric measurements needed for a basic circle skirt

A-line Skirt Fabric measurement
A-Line skirts are fitted at the hips with side seams, darts and widen towards the hemline. Its characteristic silhouette resembles the letter A which lends its name to. Unlike the circle skirt, A-line skirt uses less fabric. The details that enhance its style can be pockets, pleats, vents and different trims.
