Ideal solution for students attending Project Fashion’s workshops, this kit will bring you peace of mind, as all fabrics and accessories should cover your needs, including stiffening and decoration items.
The materials indicated in the list below should cover your consumption for your garment.

Make sure to calculate the amount of fabrics and other needed materials.

Optional contrast fabric for cuffs and Neck bands, Trimmings of your choice, patches, rhinestones, and studs, for embellishment.

Classic Dress Fabric Measurement

The classic dress is a standard bodice and an attached circular skirt however, the design feature of this dress varies on style of the sleeves and hemline.  When designing this garment take into consideration the length, neckline and design details, trims and choice of fabric etc. The table below is a guide to the standard fabric measurement of circular skirt and bodice. If you are adding big sleeves and lining, double the amount of the materials needed.

Shift dress Fabric Measurement

A form-fitting type of garment is usually a straight clean line with front and back darts that nip the waistline to create a simple and sharp cut. It is a flattering silhouette that we associate with the swinging 60s because of its elegant and carefree shape that defines modern femininity.  The modern interpretations are versatile, non-restrictive and slightly low-cut.
