Finger Guard

Description

This safety guard is a must item for anyone using a sewing machine for the first time, especially for younger children. Added to the presser foot of your household machine, it will give you the peace of mind that your kids can sew on with less danger of hurting their hands.
These are already screwed on our machines, for our nationwide workshops and weekly sessions. If you wish to use your own machine, we highly recommend that you install a safety guard on before bringing it to class.

To do so : unscrew the presser foot with a short flat screwdriver, then reinsert the screw through the loop of the guard first, the shank of pressure foot second, and the holed vertical bar from your machine third. Finally tighten everything in place with the screwdriver, making sure the guard doesn’t hang too high or too low (lower part should level up with middle sole of foot when flat).
