ROLE: Tutor (Fashion design & sewing for children) NO TEACHING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Project Fashion is currently seeking sewing tutors to help run our weekly workshop classes. Strong sewing and garment construction skills required. Successful candidates will be fully trained as an assistant tutor, teaching children aged between 7 to 15. Classes generally have two to three tutors.

It’s an exciting time to join us, we are currently expanding our after school classes for children. The successful candidate will be passionate about fashion design with the ability to inspire the students. The goal is to give the children the gift of a lifelong hobby and instill the urge for future studies and hopefully career paths within fashion Design.

The successful candidates will possess the following skill set:

  • Machine sewing & garment construction skills essential

  • Good communicator

  • A mature individual who can work on their own initiative
  • Works well within a team
  • Enthusiastic and energetic

  • Loves to work with children

  • Organised

  • Flexible with time

  • Driving with own car is desirable but not necessary

Experience:

  • sewing: 2 years (Required)

  • Part-time hours: 4 – 20 per week

  • Salary: €13.00 – €16.00 per hour
