Design & Make Bardot Top
Begin your journey with this stylish, off-shoulder Bardot top. A versatile piece that can be dressed up or down, it adds a touch of effortless elegance to any wardrobe.
This set of classes is designed to be a stand-alone creative outlet for Adults of all skill levels, to come, have fun, and leave with a fully constructed and finished garment. If you have no experience, it is advisable to do the Introduction to the Sewing Machine course before booking this course.
Each student will have access to their own sewing machine during the classes. This course is for anyone who wants to learn a new skill while exercising their creativity! Unleash your inner designer and meet like-minded individuals.
CLASS TOPICS: Learners will explore the process of creating a simple yet stylish garment from start to finish, while picking up new skills, tips, and tricks along the way.
Topics to be covered in class:
- Sewing Machine Basics
- Basic Pattern and Fabric Cutting
- Garment Construction
- Elastic Application & Hemming
- Finishing & Styling
CLASS DURATION:
- SATURDAY workshops are 3 hours long over 2 weeks. Choose 9.30am to 12.30pm class OR 1.15pm to 4.15pm.
- WEDNESDAY workshops are 2 hours long over 3 weeks. 6:30pm to 8:30pm
What you will need for class:
- Fabric (Available from our ONLINE SHOP)
- Thread
- Elastic or trims for styling
- Optional: decorative accents for a personalized touch
Bundles will be available from our ONLINE SHOP.
An email will be sent to you with a link to purchase your fabrics.
Mid-range to luxury fabrics will be available to purchase and ready for your commencement of your chosen course. We have sourced some beautiful fabrics from Japan along with Designer label off-cuts.
