BEGINNER’S PROJECTS

Each of these beginner projects are aimed at giving our learners the skills to explore and express their ideas and develop aesthetic awareness. At Project Fashion we enable the learners to see and solve problems through imaginative thinking and creativity. With each of our projects below our learners will learn lifelong skills with each project expanding their skill set ready to start their collections.

No. 1 FABRIC BELT

FabricĀ Measurements

  • 60cm x 15cm of fabric
  • 60cm of two different colored ribbons at 2.5cms width.
  • 60cm of a thin ribbon.
  • Buttons, beads and trimmings to decorate as you wish.

No. 5 PIN CUSHION:

  • 7cm X 7cm of preferred fabric
  • 15cm of elastic
  • Wadding to stuff the pin cushion

  • How to stitch the cushion and leave an opening
  • How to use wadding
  • How to close an opening

No. 6 FACE / SLEEP MASK

No. 15 BUCKET HAT

  • 25cm of vilene (medium to heavy fabric)
  • Ribbon, buttons, sequins etc to embellish
