Seeing our students and their creativity featured on RTÉ means the world to us. We were incredibly proud to watch the winners of our Irish Young Designer of the Year Awards 2025 being interviewed and sharing the amazing designs they recently showcased at Croke Park. Everything we do at Project Fashion is for them, to help young creatives build confidence, learn new sewing skills, and realize that their fashion design ideas can truly come to life. Thank you for shining a light on our kids fashion classes and what we are doing to support fashion education in Ireland.
It is our greatest mission to open pathways for all our students to move forward in the industry and help shape the next generation of Irish fashion design.
A Morning with Ireland AM: Showcasing Project Fashion’s Kids & Teens Sewing Classes
Welcoming the Ireland AM team into the world of Project Fashion was an unforgettable milestone. While we see the incredible dedication of our students every day, having their hard work broadcast on national morning television gave them a whole new level of validation. It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the real, hands-on garment construction and styling that happens in our kids and teens fashion design classes. Seeing our young designers step up to the camera with such pride in their creations reminds us exactly why we do this. A huge thank you to Ireland AM for championing youth creativity and helping us prove that the future of the Irish fashion industry is in very capable hands.

Kids Sewing classes Beginner to Advanced
We aim to develop our learners learning and developmental skills, their interaction with others, through active learning, hands on experience and communication skills. Learners will also learn to be creative and adventurous in their designs including decision making all whilst enjoying themselves, which are all lifelong skills. Project Fashion is run by Paul Alexander and his highly trained fashion team. This team is made up of Irish Fashion Designers, Milliners and Stylists in the industry.
Project Fashion lays a foundation for future studies and potential career paths. Learners are encouraged to have an awareness of fashion and to bring their own personality and understanding into their work. Our aim is to introduce Children and teenagers to the design process including visual research, drawing, the design process, understanding textiles, pattern cutting and garment construction.
