THEME: CIRCUS Fashion Camp
Get inspired! Design and create your own hip contemporary piece.
In this 4 day camp, young designers will produce a circle skirt with an under tulle and add their signature designs to it, using a selection of tulle, embellishments, ribbons and buttons.
With guidance from real fashion designers, students will be taught how to produce their very own personalized made-to-measure circle skirt.
The young designers will be given class notes on how to produce it for future reference so they can reproduce again and again. Student’s will design a pattern specific to their size.
Focus will be on garment construction and surface pattern. After producing their pattern, they will chalk & cut out their fabric. Introducing them to a domestic sewing machine, learning essential sewing techniques, they will complete their look for their final showcase.
Tulles and acessories will be supplied. Fabric not supplied.
